Removing hair by waxing has been around for a long time. Waxing is the process of removing hair by first spreading a thin layer of wax over the skin, then pressing a cloth or paper strip firmly over the wax. This will attach the wax to the hairs and the skin, as well as to the strip. The strip is then quickly pulled parallel to the skin and in the opposite direction of the hair growth. This removes the wax as well as the hair. In this way, the hair is being removed by the root, which is the best way to keep you hair free the longest. The hair will eventually come back, typically after 4-6 weeks, although some hairs may come back a little sooner.
